The College of Architecture and Urban Studies (CAUS) was founded in 1964 and is among the largest of its type in the nation. The college is composed of four schools:
The School of Architecture + Design
This highly competitive school includes programs in architecture, interior design, industrial design, and landscape architecture.
The Myers-Lawson School of Construction
A joint school with the College of Engineering, this school is the first of its kind and includes programs in building construction and civil engineering.
The School of Public and International Affairs
Graduates of this school help individuals and communities locally to internationally set policies regarding the environment, development, transportation, social services, and more through programs in public administration and policy, and urban affairs and planning.
School of Visual Arts
Students in this school choose among programs in art history and studio arts, with concentrations in visual communication design/graphic design, creative technologies, 3D animation, modeling, painting, ceramics, animation, and sculpture.
