Washington, DC
September 26 - Octorber 6, 2002

Our team is a collaborative effort between the departments of architecture, industrial design, building construction, and mechanical and electrical engineering. It has been in the process of design since the summer of 2001. Designed and built by students with faculty counsel, the project is an integral example of the tri-fold mission of the university - teaching, research, and outreach. This unique house utilizes innovative materials and systems to reduce energy demand while improving the spatial quality of residential living.
